β-lactam antibiotics

Nanopharma is developing a unique class of β-lactams, narrow-spectrum antibiotics to be used against infectious diseases such as Anthrax, MRSA and Tuberculosis. The technology and compounds related to the lactam antibiotics are protected by several patent applications and issued patents. Preclinical testing of these novel compounds is already underway.

Drug Delivery System

In addition to new antibiotics, Nanopharma is also developing a  proprietary Drug Delivery Platform which consists of polyacrylate nanoparticles for the targeted release of antibiotics within bacterial cells. The nanoparticle technology is the subject of several patent applications and is already exclusively licensed to Nanopharma for commercialization.
